Construction progress: the steel installed has passed inspection; a concrete pour is next week. The Board encourages us to donate to fully match our Spirit Level $50,000 grant.

The Bylaws Refresh Task Force is close to scheduling a Congregational Meeting to vote on proposed new bylaws.
Increasing onsite attendance has meant that most people have stopped coming to the online post-service meeting. UUSM’s weekly Zoom Coffee Hour will be discontinued at the end of October.
A new foundation is being carefully laid, leading to installation of new flooring, doors, and energy-efficient windows for our Arizona entrance to Forbes Hall and upstairs classrooms.
We were fortunate. There were more than 50 of us and the fun never stopped. We left rejuvenated and contented, fortunate to visit such a remarkable place.
We are excited to welcome the Rev. Dr. Kikanza Nuri-Robins to an official role our congregation, as Consulting Minister. She will work to build our Religious Exploration program.
