Side With Love Action of the Week
This week, Side With Love by sharing the NAACP’s Data Center Watch Community Report Form! People across the country can report their concerns about environmentally destructive data centers threatening their communities, and help the NAACP support local advocacy and coordinate national strategy. Thank you so much to everyone who came out for our volunteer day at the Westside Food Bank last Sunday — you all did an amazing job! Here’s one of the kids supervising the big pile of empty boxes at the food bank warehouse – our CYRE volunteers helped fill them all up with produce for our neighbors in need. ♥️

Side With Love Action of the Week
This week, Side With Love by speaking against the deportation of peace activist Mohsen Madawi. You can reach out to decision makers here to help prevent Mohsen’s politically motivated deportation to the West Bank. Take a few minutes to side with love and stand up for our freedom of speech!

It will be a great way to help others and learn more about the organization we collect food for every week! Please RSVP to dmre@uusm.org for more details if you plan to attend. Side With Love Action of the Week
This week, Side With Love by training to be an OWL Sexuality Education facilitator! There are online trainings coming up in June and August which will prepare you to be a facilitator for UUSM’s next round of OWL for grades 7-9, as well as upcoming trainings for other age groups. 5/2, 3-5 pm: Multigenerational Field Trip with Animal Ministry!
All ages are invited for this trip to Love Always Sanctuary in Sun Valley, where we can meet donkeys, sheep, chickens, and other rescued animals while we learn more about animal rights! Contact animalministry@uusm.org to RSVP, and to connect with carpools. Entry to the barn is $15, which goes towards the care of the animal residents.

This week, Side With Love by joining our friends from Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice at tomorrow’s May Day rally at MacArthur Park! Angelenos will be standing together for worker’s rights and economic justice – it’s a great place to find an organization that can use your help to fight authoritarianism.
