Come celebrate with us another Friday Night Soulful Sundown, sure to be a magical night of live music of popular songs that promote loving, caring relationships. You will hear songs by the likes of Lennon and McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and others.
Their inspirational music will be performed live by professional musicians who regularly perform in venues throughout the Santa Monica area. We hope to share a loving, caring vibe, to welcome new members, visitors, family, and friends.
Join fellow UUs as we reinvigorate our community and welcome new members in this Friday evening event, the second one this summer. Good food, good conversation, good music–what could be better?
The event will take place in Forbes Hall, July 28. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and we will begin with a simple chalice lighting at 6:00 followed by a communal dinner and then live music accompaniment. All of the popular songs performed will be well-known to all the congregants, and we will encourage everyone to sing along as we play. Children are welcome!
Potluck dinner, main course offered. Donation $15, kids free.
