Register for Our Sept. 13-15 Camp de Benneville Pines Weekend

de Benneville Pines weekend

Our annual UUSM family camp weekend retreat is just 7 weeks away! Let’s venture to the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest to refresh our spirits and nurture our community at our in the mountains.

Camp de Benneville Pines was purchased in 1961 by the UU congregations of Southern California and Arizona. Since then, these spacious acres and rustic comforts are where we’ve gathered to have fun, appreciate nature, explore ideas, and nurture our community.

It’s just 100 miles from the corner of 18th and Arizona, and we’ll gather there on the weekend of September 13 to 15, Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. We collaborate to create the weekend’s activities ourselves, and we bring our own bedding and towels — while Camp’s terrific staff take care of providing our meals in the Lodge.

Look for the big de Benneville Pines poster on Sundays in the Courtyard and talk to planning committee members in person. You can sign up right then and there, too.

As naturalist and activist John Muir famously proclaimed, “The mountains are calling and I must go.” Let’s go to Camp in September!
