Living Our Covenant: Workshop on Sunday Oct. 14

Right Relations Task Force logoThe Right Relations Team and Support will hold its third Covenant Workshop on Sunday, October 14 from 12:45 to 4 pm at the church. The first Covenant Workshop was held one year ago, when the purpose of a Congregational Covenant was discussed and questions were posed about what commitments were meaningful to members of the congregation. The responses provided that day formed the basis of the Covenant that was approved by congregational vote at the Annual Meeting in May 2018.

A second workshop, offered in March 2018, offered an opportunity for members of the congregation to practice how to self-regulate when angered, how to connect and listen deeply, and how to unearth the unmet needs that may be driving our conflicts.

The October 14 workshop will address how we live out our covenantal commitments, focusing on the first two sections of the Covenant: Caring and Compassion, and Communication. As before, the workshop will be highly interactive and practical. Please sign up at the Right Relations Table after either service or contact us through rightrelations@uusm.org. If you would like to assist in the right relations process by joining our Support Team, please let us know.
