Our annual Green Living Fair + Vegan/Veggie Potluck was held May 3 after being rescheduled from April’s Earth Month. UUSM’s Green Living Committee, Animal Ministry, Peace and Social Justice, Hospitality and Women+ all pitched in to help in setting up, cooking, serving, cleaning up, and doing dishes.
Seven tables were set up to providing green advice on Waterwise Gardening, Healthful Vegan Food, Green Upgrades at Home and Church, Green Ways of Getting Around, and the Santa Monica Airport (SMO) Reuse Plan. Green Living Committee members provided information and encouragement to everyone in our UUSM community for living more sustainably through their example and experience.
