This Saturday, join us in Downtown LA to march for the dignity of all, and to peacefully protest the administration’s harmful rhetoric and inhumane policies against immigrants. This event is co-organized by UUSM’s key community ally, and recent Generous Congregation recipient, Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE), as well as other local interfaith and human rights groups.
A group from UUSM will meet at 8:30AM to take the Expo Line from the Colorado & 17th St. station. Another group will be departing from Culver City. We will meet shortly before the march’s start time of 10AM at Broadway & Olympic in DTLA.
From Broadway & Olympic, the march will proceed to LA City Hall at 200 N. Spring Street, and rally at the steps on the West side facing Grand Park.

Here is more info from CLUE interfaith organizer Guillermo Torres:
A large coalition made up of faith-based, labor, and immigrant rights organizations are summoning the power of love and non-violence to express their disgust and push back against the Trump Administration’s hard-line approach to immigrants and immigration resulting in inhumane and cruel actions impacting communities everywhere. The coalition is inviting Angelenos to join them in solidarity on a “March for Dignity – Summoning the Power of Love and Non-Violence to Resist Cruelty,” Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific), starting at the historic corner of Broadway and Olympic Blvd., downtown Los Angeles.
Faith and religious leaders, immigrants, families and community allies make the call to solidarity against marginalization, criminalization and dehumanization with the “March for Dignity” seeking to amplify the call for human dignity and stand in solidarity with immigrants and people of color affected by recent executive actions. This peaceful march will bring together members of the faith community, families, allies and the broader public to walk in unity, advocating for dignity, honor, compassion, and love for this country.
We are all created in God’s image, nobody can take that away!
