The Ministerial Search Committee is full of gratitude for what you have shared to help in the search process so far. We have a new final survey we are asking each of you to complete. This anonymous in-depth congregational profile survey (different from the short B4 Survey) will help ministerial candidates better understand who we are at UUSM, and will help clarify our congregational priorities.
Any of your survey answers, even if you do not feel called to answer all the survey questions, will help the candidates and the Ministerial Search Committee make the very best choices. The more survey questions you answer, the more vibrant the story we will share about our church, our energy, and our hopes.

This detailed congregational survey will take a minimum of 20 minutes to complete. A PDF of the entire survey can be found HERE. You might download this PDF, review the questions, consider your answers, and then complete the survey online.
The small group discussions about a new minister, together with the congregational details this survey will provide, will help our congregation and the ministerial candidates in the search process.
Please complete this new and detailed congregational survey before November 16th. The winter holidays will creep up on us, so the sooner we compile this survey, the sooner we can send our congregational profile to ministers who are looking for new congregations!
The Ministerial Search Committee will have a table set up after church each Sunday to help folks with the survey as needed. Thank you in advance for all you are doing to be part of a successful ministerial search! Please contact us at search@uucm.org or find one of us on Sunday with any questions you may have.
We were also grateful and excited to get 72 responses to the short B4 workshop survey, and even happier that there were 38 folks attending the B4 workshop. During the workshop, we were able to reflect on how bias works in our lives, and strategies to recognize bias as we choose a new minister for our congregation. Here are the survey results, for those of you who want to review a summary of the B4 survey answers yourself!
