Last Fall, in a crucial phase of our ministerial search process, so many UUSM members and friends participated in the all-congregational survey as well as our series of small group conversations. We are deeply grateful for all that you helped us learn about our community and its aspirations. We crunched the survey data and produced a detailed summary of the results, and we combed through the notes from all of our small group conversations to help clarify and discern the major themes and big takeaways. Are you curious to know what you told us about who we are and what we hope for in our next settled ministry and the times ahead?
We want to be as transparent and informative as possible about how all of this vital information is informing the search process, and so we will hold a town hall meeting in the sanctuary on Sunday, Feb 1st after the service to share and discuss what the survey and conversations revealed. We will also hold a Zoom town hall on Wednesday, February 4th at 7PM to cover the same information for those who can’t make the in-person event. After the town halls, we’ll post a subsequent article here with the survey results and notes from the conversations (all anonymized, of course) for you to look at in more depth, if you wish.
Please join us for one of the town halls if you can. Please contact us for the Zoom link and/or any questions: searchconversations@uusm.org.
