There is only one more week left for you to offer an event or goods/service. Remember, Dining for Dollars is UUSM’s truly beloved fundraiser; it brings essential money into the church while giving people the chance to meet and talk and enjoy each other in community, usually around a meal, but also on walks, hikes or meeting for some common purpose.
In case you don’t know how it works: Congregants volunteer to host an event or offer their skills (goods and services). The rest of us bid on the offerings in an online auction website called Auctria.
What kinds of events are people offering this time?
- Featuring Food: Filipino Chicken Dinner, Nouveau Turkish Delights,
- Food and Something More: A Summer Salon, Charades and Supper, Beatles Music & Gourmet Pizza,
- Something Outside: Arts District Tour, Afternoon sailing on the Bay
- Authentic French Dining, with wine pairings
How about goods and services?
- Two-hour session with a personal trainer
- The joy of watercolors: take home an abstract painting created by YOU
- Learn iPhone photography in home studio
What do I do to participate?
- Volunteer to host an event. Now, before the end of April,
- Participate in the online auction. Bid high and Bid often.
- Visit the D4$ table after worship services.
Important Dates
- Wednesday, April 30, 2025 is the last day that you can offer an event or goods / service.
- The auction will run from May 18 to May 26, 2025.
- Events will take place between June 15, 2025 and January 15, 2026.
