Thanks to Intern Minister Robin Stillwater, DRE Kathleen Hogue, and Worship Associate Margot Page for leading our multigenerational Day of the Dead services on October 28. Guest musician L. Delaney Hutchinson had everyone laughing, with help from Saunder Choi and some choir members. The actors for The Dark, by Lemony Snicket, taught us all to look past the fear and see what the unknown has to offer us.
Vilma Ortiz organized the ofrenda, an altar with marigolds and calaveras. Many members brought photographs and lit candles in remembrance of those who have died.
