Generous Congregation

UU Santa Monica continues a long relationship with Westside Food Bank: volunteering, donating food, and raising funds to make nutritious food available to people in our area.

This month, half of our Sunday offerings will go to UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund. Your donations will help UNICEF fight for the rights of every child seeking safe shelter, nutrition, protection from disaster and conflicts, and equality.

This month, half of our Sunday offerings will go to Sojourn Domestic Violence Services, which meets emergency and long-term needs of 1000s of domestic violence survivors each year.

This month, half of our Sunday Offering will go to the National Center for Transgender Equality, a national organization devoted to ending discrimination and violence against transgender people through education and advocacy.

At UUSM, we believe in actively opposing attacks on human reproductive rights. This month, half of our Sunday offerings will go to Planned Parenthood.

UUSM dedicates half of our non-pledge Sunday offerings to organizations doing work in the world that advances our UU principles. This month we support the Equal Justice Initiative.

This month, half of our Sunday offerings will go to Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, the largest gang intervention, rehab and re-entry program in the world.
