Our tally is at over 15,600 cards so far! I have ordered up another 6,000 cards.
We are doing so well and are so motivated, I know you are expanding our reach to do more cards with more people in less time. The Spirit Level Fund sounded encouraging that we may be able to triple our donation gathering again, so think of what you can give and imagine it tripled. For example, $25.00 tripled to $75.00 means your $25.00 donation becomes $100.00 for our process. It’s up to the Spirit Level Board to decide but feels promising like last time. We are now at a “third tier” of bringing friends and colleagues into the writing and I’m seeing even more potential expansion.
From July’s MAJOR unfolding news I definitely feel a stronger wind is at our back.
Our identified important issues are now front and center in the news, on social media, daily, where they belong: Women’s Health, Voting Rights, Guns & Safety, Teachers, Medicare, Social Security, the Affordable Care Act, Mental Health, Rule of Law, Sexual Health, Diversity, Race and Gender, Marginalized Voices, and Our Precious Planet.
Here is some information on where our next campaign cards are going: Rockdale County, Georgia. Rockdale County is just next to Atlanta on the eastern side.
Here are some dates of interest for the election, specific to Georgia across the next months to Election Day, November 5th, 2024.
On the mailing timing, I reached out to Reclaim our Vote about that voter registration deadline of October 7th. They agree that we want to be mailing our cards at around September 15th timing. So, please hold your cards for the mid September mailing or bring them back to me to hold.
