Mission and Vision Conversations on Zoom – Tuesday, February 18th

Finding our way

UUSM’s Mission and Vision Committee has been gathering viewpoints from members and friends of the church over the past several months. This is a step toward our search for a settled minister. We are hoping to be able to collate data from the meetings by the end of February to move it forward to the Board and share the findings with the congregation.

We don’t want to leave anyone out of the conversation about their vision for the future of our church, so on Tuesday, February 18th, we will be gathering in three special Zoom sessions facilitated by Julie Nyquist, co-chair of the Mission and Vision Committee. They will be at 12 noon, 7 pm, and 8 pm PST. Each will be capped at 10 attendees per session to allow for good conversations.

These are offered especially for all those who have not yet been able to attend one of our conversations, including those who are primarily attending through our online church.

Please use this LINK TO SIGN UP. You will receive the Zoom link once we have your contact information.

The three prompts for each person are:

  1. A personal story that illustrates why UUSM is important to you.
  2. Your vision of what UUSM might be like in 5 years?
  3. One value that is important to you for us to be demonstrating now and moving into the future and what does that value look like in terms of behaviors?

If you would like to be included and can’t join us on Tuesday, let us know on the form and we’ll work to arrange other dates and times to let your voice be heard.
