Sunday Worship: Trust Walk

Sanctuary 1260 18th Street, Santa Monica, CA, United States

The Rev. Dr. Kikanza Nuri-Robins, preaching; Jef Travis, worship associate. This Sunday we will look at trust—built and broken. Trust that sustains a relationship and trust that is given to the undeserving. Trusting is critical to building healthy relationships. What does it take for you to trust? Do you have a pattern of trusting inappropriately? What is the relationship of trust and your spiritual faith? Let us meditate on Trust. Join us in-person or online.

Sunday Worship: Gender Liberation

Sanctuary 1260 18th Street, Santa Monica, CA, United States

The Rev. Jeremiah Lal Shahbaz Kalendae, preaching; Dr. Susan Hendricks, worship associate. Transgender Day of Visibility is quickly approaching and we offer this service to explore gender liberation. Embracing transgender, nonbinary, intersex, and gender diverse people is a fundamental expression of our UU Religious Values. The overwhelming majority of delegates at last years' UUA General Assembly reaffirmed this commitment. Let's explore gender identity and the gender injustices plaguing our society. Join us in-person or online.

Sunday Worship: Trusting Our Inherent Worth

Sanctuary 1260 18th Street, Santa Monica, CA, United States

Jessica Ten-Have Place, DMRE, speaking; Jef Travis, worship associate. In the face of a society that tells us people are worth more or less than others depending on our race, gender, citizenship status, or the work we can do, it's a spiritual practice to celebrate the inherent worth of each and every person. All ages are invited to join us for this interactive, multi-generational service celebrating our inherent worth, beauty, and joy. Join us in-person or online.
