Making and serving coffee is a very important job at UUSM. It helps to make our Congregation a friendly place. It’s a great way to have short conversations with a lot of people and when it slows down, longer conversations.
At the end of coffee hour there is a bit of work involved, but it feels good using some elbow grease to leave the kitchen nice and clean.
While enjoying our coffee and snacks, if not volunteering, go up to someone standing alone and talk with them. After a while look around and invite someone else to join in and meet the person. They’ll feel warm and nice and so will you.
