Be ours a religion that, like sunshine, goes everywhere... Sharing the good news of Unitarian Universalism is an important way to grow our liberal religious movement and increase its impact on our world. Our religious tradition has a long and complex relationship with reaching out to spread our faith and we will explore the challenges and opportunities of such endeavors.
From Monthly: "Beloved Community"
Beloved Community was popularized by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as the antidote to a racist society and as an aspiration to a community based on mutuality, treating everyone as our siblings. Unitarian Universalism adopted this aspiration as we moved towards promoting our 6th Principle: a “world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.”
