We will meet in Forbes Hall on Saturday, April 25, 10:30 am to noon, to discuss Our Moon: How Earth’s Celestial Companion Transformed the Planet, Guided Evolution, and Made us Who We Are, by Rebecca Boyle. Our moon stabilizes Earth’s orbit and played a role in our early thinking that earth was the center of the universe. It plays a big role in our tides and our calendar. All are welcome.
