Writing For Discernment with Bettye Barclay – Zoom/Online Wednesdays
May 15 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Bettye Barclay’s very popular Writing for Discernment class will be offered once again this spring. The class meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, from March through June, 7-9pm on Zoom.
Based on the monthly ministry theme from Soul Matters, participants will receive questions in advance of each meeting that will allow them to explore and write about their own personal experiences. This writing will be shared with others at the meeting each month. There will also be time for brief writing during each meeting from prompts offered by Bettye.
The intent is to deepen personal insight, explore meaningful questions related to your life experiences and to participate in exploring and discerning personal meaning related to the ministry theme. The sharing time will help strengthen bonds with others in our congregation. Writing experience is not required.
Bettye Barclay worked for many years as a psychotherapist and led a variety of workshops, including career choice, stress management, journal writing, and meditation.
This is a recurring meeting for members who are expected to register in advance and attend each month. Please contact AdultRE@uusm.org for the Zoom link.
