Soulful Sundown has been RESCHEDULED to Friday, October 20, 2023.
FREE ADMISSION. Come enjoy COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS and food. Potluck contributions welcome. Kids too!
Out of an abundance of caution regarding a few Covid-19 tests coming back positive, we are rescheduling Soulful Sundown to Friday, October 20th. Everything will happen as planned, only one month later:
Soulful Sundown will be a magical night of live music of popular songs that promote loving, caring relationships, songs by the likes of Lennon and McCartney, Stevie Wonder and others.
Their inspirational music will be performed with live professional musicians who regularly perform in venues throughout the Santa Monica area. We hope to promote a loving, caring vibe, especially to include new members, visitors, family and friends, in honor of our doctrine of community love we espouse in our UUSM principles.
The event will take place in Forbes Hall. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. We will begin with a simple chalice lighting at 6:00 pm followed by a communal dinner and then live music accompaniment. All of the popular songs performed will be well-known to all the congregants, and we will encourage everyone to sing along as we play. Kids are welcome!
