Science Nonfiction Book Group “Wonderful Life” – Zoom/Online

Booklovers come together to explore science and history topics in-depth.
We will discuss “Wonderful Life: The Burgess Shale and the Nature of History,” by Stephen Jay Gould.
Over 530 million years ago the Cambrian Explosion produced an amazing array of creatures, many of which do not fit into any modern classification. The Burgess Shale, a small patch in the Canadian Rockies, preserved enough of the variety to require a new look at what we call “the tree of life.”
