Science Nonfiction Book Group “Rationality” – Zoom/Online

April 18, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Booklovers come together to explore science and history topics in-depth.

We will discuss “Rationality: What It Is, Why It Seems Scarce, Why It Matters” by Steven Pinker.

Humankind has used a rational brain to develop the most amazing technologies and understanding of the universe – and yet it seems that the most irrational ideas can hold sway. We have developed approaches, such as critical thinking and probability. So, why don’t many of us take advantage of these tools of modern thought?

All are welcome. We currently gather on Zoom. Contact us for the meeting link.
