Science Non-Fiction Book Group: “How the World Really Works: The Science Behind How We Got Here, and Where We’re Going”

We will meet in Forbes Hall on Saturday, October 25, 10:30 am to noon, to discuss “How the World Really Works: The Science Behind How We Got Here, and Where We’re Going,” by Vaclav Smil. An analysis of the science and technology that makes our current lives possible. What science can and cannot accomplish. One of Bill Gates’ favorite authors. All are welcome. Rebecca Crawford, sci-nonfiction@uusm.org. We meet the 4th Saturday of each month.
