New Year Resolutions Workshop Series – Zoom/Online
May 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Significantly increase your chances of achieving success with your New Year’s resolutions (goals) in this monthly workshop series via Zoom.
This annual workshop is offered by Norm Richey, MSW, who is a Certified Life Coach. Many participants have been helped with focusing on a fresh intention, making progress towards their goals, and succeeding in realizing their desired outcomes.
There are many things that we may focus on in the new year: exercising, dieting, decluttering, saving money, spending time on family, organizing, learning new skills, picking up a hobby, and generally living life to its fullest.
Unfortunately, one study revealed that only 8% of people who expressed a new intention were successful in achievement. 73% of people experienced little to no progress. This workshop is designed to significantly increase your chances of achieving your desired intention.
By attending this workshop, you will learn how to write SMART resolutions that increase the probability of success; how to break down your overall intention into smaller sequential action steps that increases motivation and positive feedback and self-regard; two techniques that will increase follow through; and a talk on the Transtheoretical Theory of Change, by James Procaska.
“I am thankful for Norm’s New Years Resolution Workshops. In 2021, I wanted to purchase a musical instrument and record my music. I did it. In 2022, I wanted to publish my art and music on a website. I did it. I don’t know what I will do this coming year yet, but I am confident I will have just as much success thanks to Norm’s group and the participants.” – Sarah R.
Session dates: 3rd Wednesdays of the following Months: Jan 18th, Feb 15th, Mar 15th, Jun 21, Sep 20, and Nov 18th. We will not meet in July, August, and October.
Our Zoom link to be given upon registration. Registration is due by January 16, 2023. The class will be closed after the first date. Please contact us to secure your spot.
