Hiking Group

Our next hike will be on Saturday, June 24th. We will gather at the church at 9 am to carpool to Will Rogers State Historic Park to hike to Inspiration Point.
This time we go up first and then relax coming down. The trail is a 2-mile loop with a 300-ft. elevation gain; the gradual hike delivers far reaching views from Santa Monica Bay to downtown LA. This is the eastern end of the 65-mile long Backbone Trail, which crosses the Santa Monica Mountains all the way to Point Mugu.
Don’t forget your hiking essentials: cell phone, sturdy shoes, shade hat, jacket, water, snacks etc.
