Our next hike will be at King Gillette Ranch, one of the most stunning locales in the Santa Monica Mountains.
The 588-acre ranch is situated in the heart of the Malibu Creek Watershed, by the confluence of some major tributaries, and adjacent to Malibu Creek State Park.
The trailhead is located near the intersection of Los Virgenes Rd. and Mulholland Highway. There is a short steep 1/2 mile hike to Inspiration Point, where there is a visitors’ center and more.
We will meet at 9:00 am at the church to carpool and anticipate arrive at the trailhead at 10:00 am. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a knapsack with: water, a hat, sunscreen, camera, cell phone, and snacks. Dogs on leashes are allowed. Please be advised that if it is raining, we will cancel.
