Green Committee Meeting

The UUSM Green Living Committee invites you to learn more about how you and your community can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build community resilience, and improve climate justice.

 

We’re collaborating with local non-profits on urban food security and education, and with the City of Santa Monica on their Climate Action Plan. Working with Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Sunrise Movement LA, we organize and host training, programs, and occasional film screenings. Come discover information and tools for greener living and many service opportunities for adults and youth.

 

This month, join us in-person for a tour of our church campus and its many green features that collect, store and manage water—inside and outside.
