Family Soulful Sundown

Soulful Sundown is a magical night of live music of popular songs that promote loving, caring relationships—including songs by Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Bob Marley, and others.

Their inspirational music will be performed with live professional musicians who regularly perform in venues throughout the Santa Monica area. We hope to promote a loving, caring vibe, especially to include new members, visitors, family and friends, in honor of our doctrine of community love we espouse in our UUSM principles. All of the songs are well-known to our congregants and we encourage everyone to sing along. There will be a Chalice lighting by the kids and a few inspirational words of worship to share. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

The event will take place in Forbes Hall, November 10. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and dinner begins at 6:00 pm with live music accompaniment.

Children are especially welcomed! Admission is FREE to all. Bring your favorite potluck dish, as well as your favorite wine or brew to share. Bring your dancing shoes! It’s really a fun night!
