Faith Forward Inquirers Series

Many visitors come to UUSM with a host of questions: “What is Unitarian Universalism?” “What do UUs believe?” “What happens in your church community?” Our Faith Forward Inquirers Series for visitors, new members, and current members is designed to help answer these questions and many others.

Sessions will be held from 12:00-1:30 pm in Room 3 upstairs in Forbes Hall, except for the 2/9 and 3/9 sessions which are TBD.

The sessions and dates are as follows:

• • Session 1 – 01/26/25, Cottage
    • • Topic: 12:00-12:40 pm, Sunday Service and UU Liturgy
        • Presented by: The Rev. Dr. Kikanza Nuri-Robins.
        • Description: Rev. Kikanza will discuss the coming together of many coordinated pieces that are involved in creating the Sunday Service in addition to presenting UU Liturgy over the course of the church year.
      • Topic: 12:40-1:00 pm, Pastoral Care
        • Presented by: Linda van Ligten
        • Description: Linda will present the offerings of the Pastoral Care and CareRing Program since they have now merged. She will discuss how to access Pastoral Care and what the committee is able to provide and not provide to our congregational members.
