Dining for Dollars Auction

Dining for Dollars is UUSM’s beloved fundraiser that brings essential money into the church while giving people the chance to meet in community.
Congregants volunteer to host an event or offer their skills (goods and services). The rest of us bid on the offerings in an online auction website called Auctria.
What kinds of events do people offer?
- Featuring Food: Moroccan Feast, Fondue Fest, Brazilian BBQ, Beer Tasting on a Summer Night
- Food and Something More: Ladies Night at the Heated Pool, Let’s Make Chinese Dumplings Together, Beads and Bonbons, Charades and Supper
- Something Edifying: Arts District Tour, Women’s Saturday Salon, Math Problem-solving Workshop
How about goods and services?
- Surf lessons
- Adult sewing lessons
- Life coaching
- Photography in home studio
What do I do to participate?
- Volunteer to host an event.
- Participate in the online auction. Bid high and Bid often.
- Visit the D4$ table after worship services.
Important Dates
- The auction will run from May 18 to May 26, 2025.
- Events will take place between June 15, 2025 and January 15, 2026.
