Climate Justice Revival – Dialogs and Activities

Join us for a Saturday afternoon of Facilitated Dialogs and K-12 Youth Activities at our first Climate Justice Revival.

Revival Dialogs on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1pm to 5pm in Forbes Hall:
During the Revival Dialogs, our congregation will create a shared vision of our community thriving to guide our actions. We’ll collaboratively map the challenging realities and possible solutions in our community. As an individual, I will clarify my priorities for action, my skills, and what brings me joy grounded in my hopes for the future with love at the center. Together, we will create a clear list of potential actions and individual commitments to joyfully and faithfully transform our communities.

Revival Activities for Children and Youth Sept. 28 1-5pm in the Cottage:
We’ll start by connecting with one another and the rest of the natural world, creatively expressing dreams for the world. Then elementary-age children will engage in one set of activities, while junior high and high school youth engage in facilitated dialogue and brainstorming practical actions related to climate justice. This session will end with hands-in-the-dirt learning for young urban gardeners.
