Artist Reception: Matthew Malcolm

Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Santa Monica will host a closing reception for artist Matthew Malcolm, whose paintings and drawings have been featured on our Art Wall throughout December and January. The event will be held after our worship service on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Forbes Hall.

Making art allows me to create my own reality that I can immerse myself in and temporarily escape from societal expectations…I focus on creating pieces that allow me to explore my imagination and be my true authentic self.” —Matthew Malcolm

The reception is free and open to the public, and the artist will donate a percentage of her profits to support our congregation.
