Artist Reception: Karen Redding

UU Santa Monica will host a closing reception for photographer Karen Redding, whose photography hangs on our Art Wall throughout April and May. The event will be held after our worship service on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Forbes Hall.
Redding’s body of photographic work is called Travels Through Humanity and was taken in remote places around the world. It embraces the human landscape of diversity while also highlighting core values of people everywhere: a need for connection, a quest for safety and sense of belonging, and an innate desire to be seen and accepted. The reception is free and open to the public, and the artist will donate a percentage of her profits to support our congregation.
