8th Principle Town Hall

Please join us for a town hall meeting to discuss adoption of the Eighth Principle of Unitarian Universalism on Sunday, May 19 at 12 pm in the Sanctuary.

 

The Eighth Principle will be on the agenda for this year’s UUSM Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 16.

 

By adopting the proposed Eighth Principle along with the existing Seven, UUSM will join many other UU congregations around the country and here in Southern California in making explicit its commitment to multiculturalism and anti-racism. 

 

The new principle’s wording is: “Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”
