Thank you so much for the extraordinary sendoff on Sunday, June 28th.
The service was touching, the music was moving, the laying on of hands, as you saw, broke me wide open. I am grateful to each of you for being there and contributing with work and spirit. I am grateful to my friend, Rev. Jeremiah for his cameo appearance, and to President Vilma for her very kind words. I am grateful for your many cards and gifts.
I love, love, love the portrait of our little church. It sits on a very special shelf with images of my family church in Lynn, Massachusetts, and the church where I was ordained in Brentwood, CA. Now that shelf holds my very favorite church. The one that has been home to me. Thank you.
