Message: “Great Expectations” from Rev. Dr. Kikanza Nuri-Robins

Rev. Ranwa Hammamy - August 30, 2020

The Promise in the Desert

Some call 2020 "The Great Reckoning": the systemic injustices in our society are creating a powerful, scary, tense, creative, and uncertain time. Drawing inspiration from the story of Hajar in the Islamic Traditions, we explore what it can mean to believe in the promise of our faith and deepen our resilience.

From Monthly: "Resilience Summer II"

This summer encourages resiliency, sustainability, and regenerativity throughout the life of our congregation - time to study, recover, play, and prepare for the new church year. Led by our Worship Associates, a series of guests will look inward to poetry and grace, priorities and the management of expectations. Helping us rejuvenate ourselves and our community in these difficult times.
