Building from last month’s discussion of historic involvement in social issues, this month we focus on sharing our stories. Let’s discuss if and how the group may want to amplify our voices. Join us under the shade structure after our potluck lunch to share, reflect, and plan.
- 12:15 Potluck: Please bring food to share
- 12:30 Program: Sharing Our Stories, Amplifying Our Voices – We will share our experiences from recent protests including the No Kings demonstrations and then shift toward thinking about: what more we might do as a women’s plus group—individually, collectively, and strategically—to support a just, democratic, and inclusive future? How might our message reach further and faster? What small and large steps can we take to help promote our messages of love and inclusion?
We hope that many of you will come and bring food to share. 😊
