Science Non-Fiction Book Group
October 24 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Science Nonfiction Book Group: We will meet in Forbes on Saturday, October 24, 10:30 am to noon, to discuss Icepick Surgeon: Murder Fraud, Sabotage, Piracy, and other Dastardly Deeds Perpetrated in the Name of Science, by Sam Kean. With his trademark wit and precision, Kean shows that, while science has done more good than harm, rogue scientists do exist. And when we sacrifice morals for progress, we often end up with neither. All are welcome. Rebecca Crawford, sci-nonfiction@uusm.org We meet the 4th Saturday of each month.
