Ministerial Search Conversations

We are beginning another vitally important and foundational phase of our search process: the small group meetings, aka Ministerial Search Conversations. This is a chance to sit down in a group with several others, along with members of the Search Committee, and talk. Some questions we will be considering include things like… who are we as a congregation and how would we describe ourselves to a prospective settled minister? What qualities, skills and experience might we hope for in UUSM’s next minister? There are no right or wrong answers. But this is a critically important part of the process as, together, we work on discerning how we understand our congregation and its needs today, and where we may want to go in the future. 

We will be meeting for these conversations in the Cottage every Sunday 12-1PM starting on Sunday, Oct. 12th and continuing through Sunday, Nov. 15th. We will also meet on Zoom on Wed. Oct. 15th at 7PM and Wed. Oct 29th at 7PM. More dates will be added as necessary. Space is limited to 12 attendees per group.
