Join us to learn how to live more sustainably. A vegetarian potluck lunch will be served in the Lower Courtyard from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for a $10-20 donation.
Following our Sunday worship service, Green Living members will offer tips on Waterwise Gardening with Natives, Planet Healthy Foods, Green Transportation including bikes, e-scooters, transit and EVs, and Green Home Upgrades to save money and resources.
City of Santa Monica staff will provide information on rebates to help you install solar, convert from gas to electricity, and make your home more energy efficient. Citizens Climate Lobby members will discuss the Climate Action elements of the Inflation Reduction Act and key political opportunities.
We know you care about Mother Earth, and you’ll find lots of information on how you can take action.
We are teaming up with fellow UUSM members to offer a vegetarian potluck lunch under the Courtyard Shade Structure. Check out our delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, and learn how a plant-based diet protects the environment and your health.
We invite you to donate $10-20 at the event to help offset the costs of organizing it, and we encourage you to stay for our Earth Sunday choir concert at 1:30pm in the Sanctuary.
We hope you’ll make a day of it with us, as we celebrate the beauty of Mother Earth, explore the meaningful ways we can show our love by living more sustainably, and grow in our understanding of how we affect the interdependent web of all living beings and ecosystems.
